Veronica is very competitive, sarcastic, loud, psychotically humored, rude, easily bored, and highly ill-tempered as well as foul-mouthed, confident, and troubled. She is undiplomatic, believing in the use of brute force and coercion to get her way. Veronica is a merciless and sadistic killer, without a conscience, who will be more than ready to kill anyone at the slightest provocation. She takes maniacal glee in killing anyone she fights or just for fun and also has very little remorse for her enemies. Whilst appearing to be driven by general bloodlust, she actually subconsciously uses violence as a dysfunctional coping mechanism and outlet for her deeply repressed emotional and psychological issues. Most people tend to take Veronica at face value as a sadistic, incredibly destructive, volatile, gun-crazed psychopath and this is how she initially thinks of herself, ignoring the psychological trauma and emotional turmoil that fuels her behavior, possibly investing herself in this surface image to prevent others from discovering her emotional scars, keeping them hidden even from herself.

Due to an impoverished upbringing which involved verbal, physical and sexual abuse from those who had power over her, Veronica has developed an obsession towards power over herself, which causes her to appear fiercely independent and violently assertive, often using verbal or physical violence as a response to anyone who crosses her. However, while she initially appears to be tough, savage and strong-minded, her exterior actually covers up a profound lack of inner-strength and fear of the powerlessness she felt as a child. Past: Veronica's mother abandoned her and her father when she was only 4. Being raised in the poverty-stricken Chinatown district of New York, Veronica had to deal with her father's alcoholism and abuse with no one to turn to. But that changed forever when she was 12. After fleeing from one of her father's rampages, she was arrested, beaten, and raped by a corrupt police officer. Upon being returned home following this ordeal, Veronica shot and killed her father after he callously asked her for another drink.

Now on the streets by herself, Veronica had many similar encounters with the NYPD, particularly at the 27th Precinct. At age 15, she was rescued by a man named Daniel Chang and taken in by him and his wife Anastasia. He cleaned her up as well as educated and trained her alongside another girl he took in named Roxanne Thomas. Veronica showed a huge interest in cars and guns which Chang trained her in the most.

She also showed a romantic interest in Roxanne which soon resulted in them dating within six months. On Veronica's 18th birthday, she got her GED and stated her wish to become a private military contractor just like Chang. With his blessing, Veronica decided to enlist in the Marines while Roxanne went to medical school to become a nurse. She graduated boot camp with honors and after 2 years, she joined the Special Forces. Veronica became an assassin and participated in several projects, traveling across the globe. After 4 years, she decided to leave the military and return home to Roxanne for good.

But when Veronica arrived back to New York, things took a tragic turn. Roxanne was ambushed and attacked by two pimps who wanted to get back at her for ruining their prostitution ring. Roxanne died in Veronica's arms and she became enraged, almost killing the pimps but Chang stopped her. Thanks to Roxanne's bravery, the pimps were sentenced to life in prison.

Her reputation and military experience made it easy for Veronica to become a private military contractor like she always wanted and she decided to move to Bon Temps, Louisiana to start a new life and escape the hellhole she considered New York to be. Veronica's been living in Bon Temps ever since, enjoying her new career.

Veronica is very competitive, sarcastic, loud, psychotically humored, rude, easily bored, and highly ill-tempered as well as foul-mouthed. She is undiplomatic, believing in the use of brute force and coercion to get her way. Veronica is merciless and sadistic, having very little remorse for her enemies or anyone who messes with her in the slightest of ways. Whilst appearing to be driven by general bloodlust, she actually subconsciously uses violence as a dysfunctional coping mechanism and outlet for her deeply repressed emotional and psychological issues. An example of this is venting her trust issues by becoming particularly unpredictable and even dangerous to be around.

Most people tend to take Veronica at face value as a sadistic, incredibly destructive, volatile, gun-crazed psychopath and this is how she initially thinks of herself, ignoring the psychological trauma and emotional turmoil that fuels her behavior, possibly investing herself in this surface image to prevent others from discovering her emotional scars, keeping them hidden even from herself.

Due to an impoverished upbringing which involved verbal, physical and sexual abuse from those who had power over her, Veronica has developed an obsession towards power over herself, which causes her to appear fiercely independent and violently assertive, often using verbal or physical violence as a response to anyone who crosses her. However, while she initially appears to be tough, savage and strong-minded, her exterior actually covers up a profound lack of inner-strength and fear of the powerlessness she felt as a child. Her independence is actually more of a reactive attachment disorder, alienating others as much as possible to prevent the exposure of her own weakness and vulnerability.

Despite her insistence otherwise, Veronica actually hates the person she has become and desperately wants to change but doesn't know how, seeing the world as a garden of roses that she herself was expelled from. The feeling that she was unreasonably denied a happy life causes Veronica to view the world as bleak and desolate to the point of nihilism.

Past: Veronica's mother Ava gave birth to her and her twin brother Vincent when she was 15 and had Serenity two years later. The father was Gilbert Perez, a man five years her senior who was in culinary arts. Ava dropped out of high school and moved in with Gilbert after being kicked out by her parents. Their relationship was often volatile, Ava being the cause of the problems they had. Gilbert refused to tolerate Ava's behavior and eventually left her when Veronica was 5. He attempted to take the children with him but to no avail.

Ava eventually began to date one of the biggest drug dealers in the area who went by the name Rock. Things went downhill quickly from there. Rock began to abuse the kids, targeting Veronica the most and Ava did little to nothing about it, even participating in the abuse sometimes. It came to an end when Veronica was 12. Rock raped her and when he and Ava went to bed later that night, she grabbed one of his guns and killed them both while they were sleeping, using their pillows as silencers.

Veronica took her siblings and went to see her father who eagerly took them in. The case surrounding Ava and Rock's deaths went cold due to the lack of physical evidence and no one testifying against Veronica. Although Gilbert was loving towards his children and took good care of them, his job as a chef often kept him away from home, leaving them to their own devices.

Veronica kept herself busy by learning about guns and cars and became good friends with one of her neighbors named Roxanne Thomas. As she got older, she became a street rat and a rebellious delinquent, even huffing various substances by the time she was 16. Veronica also came out as a lesbian during that time and became Roxanne's girlfriend, causing her to lose faith in God after being shunned by the Catholic Church for it.

Once she graduated from high school, Veronica began to take up street racing and tattooing in order to support her family and to ease the longing she had for adrenaline and fun. She also participated in other illegal activities such as street fighting and drug dealing. Roxanne was her partner in crime as well as her mentor and they became closer than ever, resulting in Veronica moving in with her and them going to Los Angeles six months later.

Eight years passed and by this time, Veronica was working as a tattoo artist while engaging in various criminal activities with Roxanne, making lots of money in the process. The duo had many run ins with the LAPD even to the point of being harassed but because of how rich they had become, they were able to afford good lawyers. One of them being Renee Trang whose daughter Veronica became friends with.

But that all changed when Veronica and Roxanne were out celebrating their 10 year anniversary as a couple. They were ambushed by three LAPD officers who were angry at them due to getting demoted which they blamed on the girls. Veronica and Roxanne were both brutally raped and beaten, the latter taking the brunt of the abuse to protect the former and dying in the process. Veronica snapped and shot all three officers in a fit of rage and sadness for her fallen lover.

But one of them managed to live and got Veronica arrested before she could go to the hospital. Determined to make the LAPD pay for everything they'd done over the years, she contacted Renee Trang once more and was eventually hospitalized and treated for her injuries. Veronica pressed charges against the cop and sued the LAPD for $500,000, citing slander, harassment, and brutality amongst other things.

Thanks to many witnesses coming forward, video and physical evidence, combined with Renee's toughness and strength, the cop was found guilty and sentenced 25 to life. As for the lawsuit, a deal was offered due to her many skills and talents being noted by the chief of police. If Veronica joined the LAPD, she would get half the money with the other half going to Roxanne's family. She would also get an expunged record as well. Veronica took the deal and at the age of 28 was a police officer.

She's been an officer for 4 years now with her current partner being Jean Trang, the daughter of Renee Trang. Veronica is also a licensed a tattoo artist which she does on the side whenever she can.

Past: When Athena was 9, a girl who lived on her street was kidnapped and the entire neighborhood tried to look for the missing girl but all they were able to find was a hair clip in the woods. Past: Amator's parents were demons who traveled and moved around a lot due to dealing with prejudice and persecution. They finally settled down in Italy where they married and gave birth to three children: twins named Amator and Alexus as well as another boy named Jensen.

From a young age, Amator was forced to hide his powers by his parents out of fear of being persecuted. He had difficulty fitting in as a result and being an incubus was becoming more and more difficult to hide as he grew older and went through puberty. He dealt with it by writing poems and songs, showing his artistic abilities very well.

Amator's sexual abilities continued to lay dormant until his sophomore year in high school where he was taken advantage of by a female teacher who was a succubus. She continued to abuse him sexually for the rest of the school year and throughout the summer, blackmailing him about his true identity and threatening to reveal it if he told anyone. Enraged, his parents confronted the woman which lead to a full-blown showdown in their true forms. The Romanos' cover was blown but they didn't care. The teacher was killed and they weren't jailed due to Amator testifying about his ordeal. He and his family were mostly accepted as demons and didn't deal with much prejudice much to their surprise.

Amator graduated from high school and went through therapy and fell in love for the first time when he became infatuated with his therapist. Sadly he was rejected due to her being engaged and not wanting to date one of her patients. Amator's big break came when he was approached by a modeling agency.

 
His looks and attitude quickly garnered a cult following both online and offline which lead to him becoming more and more of a celebrity. Amator's sex appeal also helped greatly, causing him to become a womanizer and have casual flings with various women but not having feelings for any of them.

Past: Born into a wealthy and large family, Veronica had a happy childhood, spending many days with her cousin Ulrich who she was very close with. But it was hard for her to make friends due to her parents being so wealthy and her own attitude which was a stark contrast to the other girls. As a result, Veronica hung out with mostly boys, making her even more of an enemy to the female student body. She found herself in many verbal and physical fights with them, resulting in her getting suspended several times and nearly getting expelled at one point.

At the age of 12, Veronica's world came crashing down. While at church with her family, she was molested and raped by her Sunday School teacher. The torture continued for six months until she tearfully confessed to her mother who went to the police and had the teacher arrested. The legal process was long, grueling, and Veronica had to testify against her teacher, reliving the traumatic experience.

Despite the man being sentenced to prison for 70 years, it still failed to quell the anger that was slowly rising in Veronica's heart. She began to act out, becoming more of a rebel and partaking in more delinquent activities as well as distancing herself from her family. She tried to do whatever she could to stop the pain and trauma from taking over but to no avail.

Veronica eventually found her solace in another rebellious girl named Faith Wallace when she was 13. But she was feeling more than friendship towards Faith which was returned due to her coming out as a lesbian. Veronica came out as bisexual and although their families supported their relationship, the church that they attended together did not and eventually they were shamed and ostracized.

To make matters worse, Faith's family moved to Canada and she broke up with Veronica in the process, not willing to have a long-distance relationship. Heartbroken beyond repair, Veronica began to return to her delinquent behavior which was more risky and dangerous than before. Eventually Veronica went blind with rage and decided to set her former church on fire which led to her being arrested and charged with arson. Because of her age, Veronica was tried in juvenile court and ordered to undergo therapy as well as community service.

Concerned about their daughter's well-being and safety, Veronica's parents sent her to France to live with her brother Alexus and registered her into Kadic Academy, entrusting her to Ulrich in hopes that she'll heal and open up as well as be safe. Veronica is required to attend group therapy at a local Catholic church as well as participate in church services but no one knows except for Ulrich.


Personality: Veronica is crude, bold, and gives no fucks. She speaks without filter and says whatever is on her mind, regardless of the situation. If Veronica has a problem with something or someone, she'll voice it no matter what. Despite being rather intelligent, her cynical nature has made her extremely blunt and confrontational with others and she consequently finds it difficult to fit in with normal society or to trust people. She is very adept at reading people and constantly distances herself from others by speaking her observations candidly and bluntly.

Although Veronica doesn't trust people easily and doesn't let them get close to her, if she does manage to make friends, she makes them for life. She's fiercely loyal to the few people she holds dear and cares about, always being there for them as well as very protective. Veronica can be very reckless and relentless when any of her loved ones are in danger, doing anything to make sure they're safe and happy, showing her more selfless nature.

Veronica has deep, emotional scars which have turned her into an angry, vengeful woman. The main way she expresses her trauma is through her wrath and often appears as tough-minded, unemotional, and ruthless but actually has low self-esteem underneath her behavior and has a sense of secret shame and humiliation. She is full of secrets, pain, anger, and vengeance. Veronica has a fearsome temper and setting her off will have disastrous consequences for those involved.
