Past: Jean was born in Texas but moved to California when she was 5. Her parents were struggling to conceive so when Jean was born, they were very happy and wanted to provide the best for their miracle child. Overall, Jean had a happy, memorable childhood and was a very active, extroverted kid to her parents' chagrin.

When Jean was 16, she graduated high school due to advancing a few grades and on her 17th birthday, she enlisted in the U.S. Marines with her parents' permission which was difficult to get due to their many concerns. Boot camp brought out the best in Jean and she quickly became one of the best soldiers in training, even graduating with honors.

Jean specialized in infantry, wanting to go into direct combat instead of being behind the scenes. She was pushed beyond her limits but she proved herself quickly with her perseverance and quick thinking. Jean quickly rose in the ranks, becoming Sergeant and at the age of 21 gave birth to a son she named Diego Jr, the father being a man named Diego Ramirez who was in the Air Force.

As Jean's military career continued to soar, her personal life began to plummet. She struggled with PTSD and postpartum depression which put a strain on her relationship with her family despite their best efforts to help her. Diego decided to break things off with Jean, taking their son with him. This caused her to finally seek counseling and therapy and she managed to repair her personal relationship, maintaining a civil co-parenting relationship with Diego and sharing custody of their son with him.

At age 26, Jean was discharged from the Marines after 9 years of service. She was a heavily decorated war hero with the rank of First Sergeant by this time and decided to settle down in Los Angeles. Because of Diego deciding to stay in the Air Force, he and Jean mutually agreed that Diego Jr should stay with her due to her being more stable and staying in one place now.

Now with her son by her side, Jean decided to apply for the LA Police Academy, quickly getting in thanks to her military experience. Now she's currently a police officer in the LAPD, being on the force for three years now.

Veronica is very competitive, sarcastic, loud, psychotically humored, rude, easily bored, and highly ill-tempered as well as foul-mouthed. She is undiplomatic, believing in the use of brute force and coercion to get her way. Veronica is merciless and sadistic, having very little remorse for her enemies or anyone who messes with her in the slightest of ways. Whilst appearing to be driven by general bloodlust, she actually subconsciously uses violence as a dysfunctional coping mechanism and outlet for her deeply repressed emotional and psychological issues. An example of this is venting her trust issues by becoming particularly unpredictable and even dangerous to be around.

Most people tend to take Veronica at face value as a sadistic, incredibly destructive, volatile, gun-crazed psychopath and this is how she initially thinks of herself, ignoring the psychological trauma and emotional turmoil that fuels her behavior, possibly investing herself in this surface image to prevent others from discovering her emotional scars, keeping them hidden even from herself.

Due to an impoverished upbringing which involved verbal, physical and sexual abuse from those who had power over her, Veronica has developed an obsession towards power over herself, which causes her to appear fiercely independent and violently assertive, often using verbal or physical violence as a response to anyone who crosses her. However, while she initially appears to be tough, savage and strong-minded, her exterior actually covers up a profound lack of inner-strength and fear of the powerlessness she felt as a child. Past: Veronica's mother Ava gave birth to her and her twin brother Vincent when she was 15 and had Serenity two years later. The father was Gilbert Perez, a man five years her senior who was in culinary arts. Ava dropped out of high school and moved in with Gilbert after being kicked out by her parents. Their relationship was often volatile, Ava being the cause of the problems they had. Gilbert refused to tolerate Ava's behavior and eventually left her when Veronica was 5. He attempted to take the children with him but to no avail.

Ava eventually began to date one of the biggest drug dealers in the area who went by the name Rock. Things went downhill quickly from there. Rock began to abuse the kids, targeting Veronica the most and Ava did little to nothing about it, even participating in the abuse sometimes. It came to an end when Veronica was 12. Rock raped her and when he and Ava went to bed later that night, she grabbed one of his guns and killed them both while they were sleeping, using their pillows as silencers.

Veronica took her siblings and went to see her father who eagerly took them in. The case surrounding Ava and Rock's deaths went cold due to the lack of physical evidence and no one testifying against Veronica. Although Gilbert was loving towards his children and took good care of them, his job as a chef often kept him away from home, leaving them to their own devices.

Veronica kept herself busy by learning about guns and cars and became good friends with one of her neighbors named Roxanne Thomas. As she got older, she became a street rat and a rebellious delinquent, even huffing various substances by the time she was 16. Veronica also came out as a lesbian during that time and became Roxanne's girlfriend, causing her to lose faith in God after being shunned by the Catholic Church for it.

Once she graduated from high school, Veronica began to take up street racing and tattooing in order to support her family and to ease the longing she had for adrenaline and fun. She also participated in other illegal activities such as street fighting and drug dealing. Roxanne was her partner in crime as well as her mentor and they became closer than ever, resulting in Veronica moving in with her and them going to Los Angeles six months later.

Eight years passed and by this time, Veronica was working as a tattoo artist while engaging in various criminal activities with Roxanne, making lots of money in the process. The duo had many run ins with the LAPD even to the point of being harassed but because of how rich they had become, they were able to afford good lawyers. One of them being Renee Trang whose daughter Veronica became friends with.

But that all changed when Veronica and Roxanne were out celebrating their 10 year anniversary as a couple. They were ambushed by three LAPD officers who were angry at them due to getting demoted which they blamed on the girls. Veronica and Roxanne were both brutally raped and beaten, the latter taking the brunt of the abuse to protect the former and dying in the process. Veronica snapped and shot all three officers in a fit of rage and sadness for her fallen lover.

But one of them managed to live and got Veronica arrested before she could go to the hospital. Determined to make the LAPD pay for everything they'd done over the years, she contacted Renee Trang once more and was eventually hospitalized and treated for her injuries. Veronica pressed charges against the cop and sued the LAPD for $500,000, citing slander, harassment, and brutality amongst other things.

Thanks to many witnesses coming forward, video and physical evidence, combined with Renee's toughness and strength, the cop was found guilty and sentenced 25 to life. As for the lawsuit, a deal was offered due to her many skills and talents being noted by the chief of police. If Veronica joined the LAPD, she would get half the money with the other half going to Roxanne's family. She would also get an expunged record as well. Veronica took the deal and at the age of 28 was a police officer.

She's been an officer for 4 years now with her current partner being Jean Trang, the daughter of Renee Trang. Veronica is also a licensed a tattoo artist which she does on the side whenever she can.

Past: Born into a wealthy and large family, Veronica had a happy childhood, spending many days with her cousin Ulrich who she was very close with. She tried to do whatever she could to stop the pain and trauma from taking over but to no avail.

Veronica eventually found her solace in another rebellious girl named Faith Wallace when she was 13. But she was feeling more than friendship towards Faith which was returned due to her coming out as a lesbian. Veronica came out as bisexual and although their families supported their relationship, the church that they attended together did not and eventually they were shamed and ostracized.

To make matters worse, Faith's family moved to Canada and she broke up with Veronica in the process, not willing to have a long-distance relationship. Heartbroken beyond repair, Veronica began to return to her delinquent behavior which was more risky and dangerous than before. Eventually Veronica went blind with rage and decided to set her former church on fire which led to her being arrested and charged with arson. Because of her age, Veronica was tried in juvenile court and ordered to undergo therapy as well as community service.

Concerned about their daughter's well-being and safety, Veronica's parents sent her to France to live with her brother Alexus and registered her into Kadic Academy, entrusting her to Ulrich in hopes that she'll heal and open up as well as be safe. Veronica is required to attend group therapy at a local Catholic church as well as participate in church services but no one knows except for Ulrich.

Zuri was born into a life of privilege being the firstborn of four children to a Puerto Rican father and African-American mother. Despite both of her parents coming from rough, impoverished backgrounds, they worked their asses off to rise to the very top of society and become Ivy League educated and refined.

Although Zuri had a great home life and the upbringing most children would die for, she didn't fare very well outside of it. At school, she was bullied severely which caused her to develop low self-esteem and depression. Zuri would often completely shut down in school and in public and at the age of 13, she couldn't take it anymore and attempted suicide. This led to her getting counseling, being put on medication, and her transformation began with the help of her family and friends that she had made.

As Zuri got older, her talents became more and more noticeable and her self-confidence slowly began to grow thanks to her growing circle of friends. But she still has issues in the dating scene because of how she carries herself and her morals/values.

Past: Veronica's childhood was fun, eventful, and full of life and energy. From the time she was a toddler, she was an energetic tomboy as opposed to her twin sister Valeria who was a proper girly girl. Because of this, Veronica had a much closer relationship with her father and was indeed a daddy's girl. Her biggest dream was becoming a Texas State Trooper just like him.

When Veronica was 12, she got sick at school and her father checked her out as a result. Past: Jean was abandoned in front of a hospital by an unknown Vietnamese woman after she was born and she was found by Ren Osaki, a prominent judge in Japan. Not wanting her to end up in the system, Ren decided to take her in and named her Jean. He and his wife Sakura had been trying for a third child but to no avail so this was the golden opportunity for them to finally have the family that they always wanted.

The fact that Jean was Vietnamese wasn't an issue for the Osaki family and she was spoiled and given only the best money could buy which wasn't an issue since Sakura came from a very rich and prominent family in addition to the careers that she and Ren had. Jean also got along quite well with the biological children Akira and Aiko who were twins and quite protective of her since she was often bullied at school for being Vietnamese.

But there was a much darker side to Jean's new life. Sakura's older brother Riku had especially taken a liking to her and quickly took it upon himself to become her mentor which was simply a front that he had used for grooming her and gaining her trust. When Jean was 12, things came to a head between her and Riku. She was at his home for the weekend and he tortured and raped her before threatening to kill her if she ever spoke a word about it to anyone.

Jean kept it all a secret and just wanted to forget about it but it came back to haunt her when she had fainted at school. The scars that Riku left on her back had become badly infected and to top it all off, she was pregnant. Sakura and Ren were enraged and demanded to know what had happened which caused Jean to have a complete nervous breakdown and end up hospitalized in the process. When the father of her baby was revealed, Sakura and Ren went on a complete warpath and were merciless in making sure that Riku faced justice. In the end, Riku wound up being brutally beaten to death thanks to Ren having some connections to the Yakuza.

As for Jean's pregnancy, she was forced to carry the pregnancy to full term since she was too far along to get an abortion. Those months were easily the most tumultuous and harrowing of Jean's life and her mental state was getting even worse, resulting in self-mutilation and two suicide attempts before she was finally forced to get the psychiatric help that she desperately needed for her PTSD and clinical depression.

A month after she turned 13, Jean gave birth to a boy that she named Hiroki. Sakura and Ren decided to raise him as their own child instead of giving him up for adoption which Jean wasn't very happy with and she acted quite cold and distant towards Hiroki as a result. Whenever she lashed out or was angry, it wasn't uncommon for her to take it all out on Hiroki. Naturally this angered Sakura and Ren and after a heart-to-heart talk with Jean, she began to treat Hiroki much better and turned to her childhood hobby of video games to escape from her pain as well as diving into other things such as martial arts and cooking.

As Jean went into high school, she finally started to blossom and with her newfound outlook on life along with her subsequent popularity came admirers. Although Jean had dated quite a few boys, only one was able to keep her attention. A foreign exchange student by the name of Walter Thompson. He was African-American and was in Japan because he was sent to live with his father who was in the Army and moved to Japan after retiring.

Jean and Walter's relationship was on-and-off as well as torrid but quite passionate. Even though they would often date other people and fight constantly, they would end up back in each other's arms and the cycle would repeat itself. This continued all while Jean and Walter were in high school and even after they graduated. Jean's beautiful and foreign looks caused her to be scouted by a huge modeling agency and she decided not to go to college much to the ire of her parents.

Wanting something more to do in her spare time, Jean decided to start a YouTube channel where her online alias Secrecy was born. If Jean wasn't modeling, she was attending gaming tournaments and winning prize money. But her personal life wasn't going as splendidly unfortunately. Jean had discovered that she was pregnant with twins and Walter was the father. But the issue was that he was engaged to be married to someone else and wasn't willing to sacrifice that for Jean and the babies. This led to them breaking things off for good but she wasn't satisfied. When Walter's wedding took place, Jean stormed into the church and brought everything to light, humiliating him in front of his family and friends and causing his bride to abandon him at the altar.

Satisfied with her revenge, Jean decided to raise her twins on her own since she knew that Walter wouldn't be in their lives as a result. She eventually gave birth to twin boys whom she named Daichi and Daisuke. Jean's zest for life was bigger than ever before and with it came a boom in her gaming career which caused her to receive international attention thanks to her new adventure in live-streaming.

Their Story:

Jean and Veronica met at a large fighting game tournament in Texas where they played against each other in the semifinals. The round quickly became infamous in the FGC due to how skilled both ladies were and how intense the match was overall. But Veronica eventually won which caused a huge uproar at the tournament but Jean took the loss in stride and was present when Veronica eventually won the tournament and took home the prize money. The Vietnamese woman took an interest in Veronica and approached her afterwards to congratulate her on her victory which was accepted with open arms.

Veronica also decided to invite Jean out for drinks and decided to introduce her to some American cuisine since it was Jean's first time being in the U.S. The two women hit it off instantly and promised to keep in contact when Jean went back to Japan. Veronica kept true to her word and eventually it wasn't long before she and Jean were having regular gaming sessions and communicating via video chat whenever they could although it was difficult because of time differences.

This continued for 2 years until Jean decided to return to America for a photoshoot which just so happened to be taking place in Texas. She went to see Veronica and it was clear that over the past 2 years, they had fallen madly in love with each other. Before Jean went back to Japan, she decided to propose to Veronica who was quite shocked but readily accepted.

Since same-sex marriage wasn't legal in Japan, Jean knew that she had to apply for a K-1 visa which she began to do immediately once she returned home with the help of Veronica. Jean made the move to Texas with Daisuke and Daichi in tow but promised to keep in contact with her family and it was quite easy for her to find a modeling agency to work with as well.

Jean and her kids moved into Veronica's four bedroom home and the wedding planning started immediately with Jean's family opting to pay for the wedding. Now the couple has 90 days to wed or else Jean will have to move back to Japan.
