Personality

On the surface, Diana is soft-spoken and polite as well as warm and compassionate. Motivation and cheerfulness are also a part of her daily routine. Her biggest personality trait is her calm, "zen-like" nature. Diana rarely loses her composure and is always there to offer support and wise advice to anyone who needs it. Past: Diana's childhood was raised in a strait-laced Christian household. Her mother Renee was strict and sometimes harsh while her father Lester was more gentle and kind. Being the daughter of a famous pastor was difficult for Diana since she was always subject to scrutiny and constant monitoring thanks to the church members being rather nosy and not knowing when to mind their own business.

Because of the constant pressure and judgment, it wasn't a surprise that Diana began to rebel against the teachings of the church. She became sexually active at age 15 and had a string of relationships, all of which ended badly. When she graduated from high school, Diana began to date one of the reverends even after she entered college to become an OB/GYN.

After Diana graduated with her Bachelor's, she discovered that she was 2 months pregnant. When she tried to tell the reverend she was dating, she discovered that he had gotten married to another woman whom he was actually cheating on with Diana. Instead, Diana told her parents about her pregnancy and they asked who the father was so they could arrange a wedding. Her mother added fuel to the fire by giving her an ultimatum: get married or get an abortion.

Diana's older brother Dante had a best friend named Miles Hawkins who had been in love with her for a long time and always pined for her affections despite her constant rejection of him. Knowing about the situation that Diana was in, Miles offered to marry her and raise the baby as his own. Although Diana initially rejected the idea, she decided to go through with it when she realized that the reverend was playing her and he voiced his opposition to her upcoming marriage.

Before Diana knew it, she was married to Miles and 7 months later, she gave birth to a daughter that she named Judith. Diana has now been married to Miles for 7 years and is currently enjoying her career as an OB/GYN and raising her daughter to be the best person she can be.

Personality

One word to describe Miles would be rare. He has a rich inner mind and a surprising way of reacting to the world around him. Being different leaves him feeling alienated and even causes him to experience certain levels of self-doubt.

Miles follows his own set of morals and beliefs and hates being shoved into a box. He will often push against anything that is traditional simply because he doesn't enjoy not being allowed to be himself. Miles also despises when other people are forced into a role that does not make them happy. He believes in standing up for people which can often make him appear different from others. Miles doesn't fit into what society believes is "right" or "normal" and will definitely go his own way. He has his own way of looking at things.

Past: Miles was born into a middle class family and when he was 5, his family moved to Atlanta and they joined Second Chance Ministries. Miles became fast friends with the Bishop's son Dante and from there, they grew up together and had a very close friendship that continued to last as they became teenagers and adults, even enlisting into the military together although they went to different branches.

Miles always had a crush on Diana and really cared about her but he was always shot down or rejected. Despite that, Miles kept trying to win her affections but to no avail. When Diana became pregnant, Miles immediately seized the opportunity to make her his when her mother gave her the ultimatum of getting married or getting an abortion.

Luckily for Miles, Diana chose marriage and they had a shotgun wedding, Diana giving birth to Judith 7 months later. Now a paramedic, Miles is enjoying his marriage to Diana, doting on her and Judith with undying love and affection.
