~~History~~
Mahogany was born into a hard-working, loving family and was the youngest of four kids as well as the only girl. Her family prided themselves on expression and passion and from a young age, Mahogany found solace in music and food, using those things to express herself and help others. She often had to deal with bullying due to people being jealous of her but it stopped once she stood up for herself and started displaying confidence in her teenage years.
When Mahogany was a senior in high school, she met the man who would eventually become her husband: Jesse Hudson. He was a sophomore and transferred from a new school. She helped him fit in and this sparked a strong friendship between them and once they both went off to college, they started dating. Mahogany pursued culinary arts while Jesse pursued medicine, wanting to become a doctor. Mahogany also worked on her musical talents and she eventually started to gain a reputation in her town.
After graduating from college, Mahogany and Jesse got married but the cracks were already starting to form. Mahogany had difficulty getting pregnant due to PCOS and she refused to be a stay-at-home wife which annoyed Jesse. Throughout their marriage, Mahogany started working in various restaurants and grinding as a musician hoping to catch her big break much to Jesse's chagrin.
5 years later, Mahogany received the shock of her life when she found out that Jesse was cheating on her with her best friend Brenda. He showed no remorse and moved out of their apartment, slapping her with divorce papers.
Mahogany fell into a deep state of depression and sadness and the divorce process didn't make things any better thanks to Jesse and Brenda rubbing everything in her face. Thankfully they didn't have many (if any) assets between them so the divorce went smoothly. Mahogany decided to throw herself into her work to try and move on but she found herself becoming more and more isolated and depressed as some of her friends sided with Jesse during their divorce.
Things came to a head when Jesse and Brenda had the nerve to send her an invitation to their wedding. Something in Mahogany snapped and she attempted suicide. Thankfully one of her brothers found her just in time and she was hospitalized, undergoing treatment afterwards and leaning on her family for the support she needed.
Mahogany finally got the big break in music she wanted when a record label noticed her music thanks to her sending various demos and participating in events. She was signed and her debut album All On My Own was released a year later. It was released to critical acclaim and she won multiple awards, including Grammy Awards which catapulted her to newfound fame and glory.
Now Mahogany is working on her second album, healing from previous wounds, and working on becoming a better person.

Mahogany is a gentle, kind soul with an air of confidence and class that most people don't possess. She loves to have a good time and is always up for fun and jokes. But it takes her a while to open up to others due to bad experiences with people and she's definitely an introvert at heart. Mahogany is very protective of herself and her peace, refusing to let anyone disturb it and she often leaves at the first red flag someone shows, having a gift of discernment that very few people have.
Mahogany is very creative and is always thinking about the next idea or adventure to go on. She's very passionate and gives her all when she does something. She's very rebellious and she marches to the beat of her own drum, preferring to find things out for herself and do her own research instead of listening to what others say. Mahogany isn't afraid to question or think deeper and has a habit to play devil's advocate.
Another defining trait of Mahogany is her sass and wit which never fails to shock others or make them laugh. Her kindness is not to be mistaken for weakness and she's definitely not afraid to stand up for herself or others. She doesn't like violence or conflict but sees it as a natural part of life and therefore has adapted to it. She's quite vengeful and if someone hurts her, she will get them back and she's not afraid to play the long game. But Mahogany isn't vindictive and she will forgive a person eventually but for her sake instead of theirs.
When it comes to romance, Mahogany doesn't have a good track record. Her betrayal and subsequent divorce from her ex-husband has left her heart broken and she's reluctant to date again, not really believing in true love. Despite this, she is a romantic at heart and has a lot of love to give. She gives her all and loves very hard but over the years, she has gained enough self-love to put herself first and not let anyone dim her light or disrupt her peace again. Mahogany has high standards when it comes to people she lets in her life.
