At first glance, Zuri seems like an introverted, classy ice queen. She is quiet, troubled, brooding, grim, moody, seemingly emotionless, intelligent, studious, and sarcastic. Zuri can always come up with a snarky and sarcastic remark and her wittiness knows no bounds. She is quite mature, often giving advice to others about various subjects and generally staying cool and calm no matter how desperate the situation is. Around strangers, Zuri is often emotionally restrained, appearing secretive and distant as well as spending most of her time by herself. It is difficult for her to build trust in anyone and even more difficult to truly forgive if that trust were to be broken. Zuri doesn't like to mince words and says whatever is on her mind no matter what, having no tolerance for stupidity. Her mouth can be quite outrageous to the point of being humorous. ~~Life Story~~

Zuri was born to Crystal Wallace and Beau Willie Brown in Harlem, New York. Her parents were fresh out of high school and Beau enlisted into the U.S. Army while Crystal took up a job as an assistant to a large CEO. Crystal adjusted perfectly to her job while Beau was having a difficult time adapting to military life and his mental state began to deteriorate slowly but surely.

When Zuri was 5, her younger siblings Kenya and Kwame were born which resulted in Beau leaving the military when his contract was up. He tried to find a job but it was proving difficult due to his PTSD and alcoholism. To make matters worse, Beau had started to become abusive towards Crystal and it wasn't uncommon for Zuri to go to school with bruises on her body. Although CPS was often called on the Wallace family, nothing came of it due to Beau's aggression and temper scaring them away.

Zuri lived in constant fear and anxiety for many years until the unthinkable happened. When she was 12, Beau had dropped Kenya and Kwame out of the window of their apartment building. Since they were on the 5th floor, they died instantly. Zuri and Crystal had tried to save them but they were badly beaten in the process. Beau was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault with his sentence being life in prison without parole.

Sadly this did nothing to quell the grief and pain in Crystal's heart and six months later, she committed suicide by overdosing on pills. Zuri had come home from school and found her body. Her crying and screaming had alerted the neighbors who called the paramedics and Zuri was taken into foster care.

The police had contacted her aunt Vianne who had married a Korean man and moved to South Korea shortly after Zuri was born but lost contact with Crystal due to Beau's abusive ways. Vianne and her husband Minsoo instantly came to America and took Zuri into their custody, whisking her away to South Korea.

For the first time in her life, Zuri was able to experience the true love and affection of family although it was difficult for her to open up to everyone because of all the trauma that she had went through. Adjusting to life in South Korea was difficult for Zuri especially due to her being a foreigner but she managed to adapt thanks to making various friends who stuck with her throughout her life.

Zuri quickly showed an aptitude for cars and home repairs but she had a hard time dating because of men feeling insecure about said talents. It didn't help matters that Zuri was also severely bullied and stalked for her heritage and because she didn't fit in amongst her peers. Thankfully her uncle was able to put a stop to it all thanks to his high position in society as a judge but the entire ordeal still left Zuri with mental scars that she still carries today.

After graduating from high school, Zuri went off to college and majored in Mechanical Engineering with the goal of becoming a mechanic and starting her own business one day. After graduation, Zuri took on a paid apprenticeship underneath the tutelage of a man named Dalton Rhodes who was also a foreigner and owned an auto shop of his own called Dalton's Repairs.

Despite Zuri's skepticism, she wound up falling in love with Dalton and he eagerly returned her feelings despite being 12 years her senior. Their romance was a passionate whirlwind and within a year, they had moved in together once Zuri became a full-fledged mechanic. She loved Dalton so much that she was even willing to forego her original dream of owning her own auto shop so she could continue working alongside him.

Zuri easily became the most talented mechanic at Dalton's Repairs and despite people giving her shit for being a black woman and being Dalton's girlfriend, she didn't let it get to her and continued to prove them wrong, eventually becoming highly respected amongst her peers and customers.

Zuri's relationship with Dalton only grew stronger and after 3 years together, he finally proposed to her which she eagerly accepted. To make things even better, Zuri discovered that she was pregnant. But sadly the couple wouldn't make it down the aisle. Six months later, there was a pile-up caused by a drunk driver and Zuri and Dalton were right in the thick of it. Dalton died on impact and Zuri managed to survive but unfortunately her unborn child didn't.

Dalton's will was read and he had left everything he owned to Zuri much to everyone's shock. Not wanting to fall into a deep depression, Zuri drowned herself in work and managing everything Dalton had left her, especially his auto shop. Zuri decided to rename it Z's Repairs and it became even more popular under her management, especially with foreigners. 

Now Zuri has accomplished her dream and is very successful but still feels like something is missing in her life.

Personality: Erin is a woman with many layers. She is stern and scathing, self-possessed, sardonic, moody, cynical, and doesn't smile often. Erin is nonetheless kind-hearted, caring, and intelligent, unafraid to question anything or anyone on objective terms. Having lost many important people in her life, Erin has become reserved and prefers to keep her emotions locked up, choosing to examine the world with realism and logic. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and family and respects them to the highest degree. She is stoic and almost never breaks her stern demeanor. When she does, it is quite shocking to the people around her.

Relationships:

James "Logan" Howlett/Wolverine: Erin and Logan met when she first joined the X-Men and moved into the X-Mansion.

Erin and Logan got off to a rather cold start but it didn't take long for her to warm up to him especially when he met her children. Erin trusts Logan completely and on the rare occasion that she opens up, he's usually the first one that she opens up to. Erin is also unintimidated by Logan and doesn't fear him at all which allows her to put him in his place if needed and stand up to him as well.

Erin likes Logan but hasn't approached him because she doesn't want to be rejected nor does she want things between them to be awkward.

Ororo Munroe/Storm: Erin and Ororo met after Erin joined the X-Men.

Erin and Ororo instantly gravitated towards each other because of their serene natures and despite their differences, Erin has come to view Ororo as a comrade and sister. The two women are often seen together and Erin is very protective of Ororo as well. She really likes Ororo's powers and isn't afraid to crack a joke or two at her expense either. Erin usually places Ororo in charge of her children if she ever has to leave the X-Mansion for any reason which shows how much she trusts her.

Erin's admiration for Ororo has turned to infatuation over the years but she's afraid to express it because she thinks that she's too corrupt and dark for Ororo.

Carol Danvers: Erin met Carol during her time in the military at a military ball.

Due to them both being military women, it's not hard to understand why Erin thinks of Carol so highly. She always makes sure to keep in contact with Carol despite them going their separate ways after leaving the military. Carol is the only person who knows about Erin's various traumas and issues plaguing her life and whenever they rear their ugly heads, Erin usually turns to Carol for emotional support and advice. Erin's kids also love Carol, often calling her "Aunt Carol" which makes Erin quite happy.

Erin idolizes Carol and wishes that she could be more like her. Erin wants something more with Carol but worries that she isn't good enough for her and can't measure up to her.

Tony Stark: Erin met Tony at a luxurious party which resulted in them having a one-night stand.

The fact that Erin still kept in contact with Tony after their one-night stand is a huge indicator for how valuable he is to her. She highly respects his work and isn't afraid to praise him in regards to it. However that doesn't mean that Erin tolerates Tony's shortcomings and can be rather hard on him but she does it all out of love and because she simply wants to place him on the best path forward. Erin's dry wit often comes out in Tony's presence and it isn't uncommon to see them flirting with each other either, their one-night stand being common knowledge amongst their fellow heroes.

Erin doesn't regret her one-night stand with Tony and has grown to care about him over the years. She wants to have a deeper relationship with Tony but isn't sure of how to approach the situation and confess her feelings.

Norman Osborn: Erin met Norman while she was on a tour at Oscorp with her father and her commanding officer.

Erin really likes Norman's work and finds his research fascinating despite having a different career path than him. She finds his presence relaxing but at the same time she always feels like she's walking on eggshells around him which makes her reluctant to be around him sometimes. But Erin feels drawn to Norman and can't stay away from him despite her instincts telling her to do so. It all feels forbidden to her which is something Erin has never felt before. This is ironic considering that Erin is a superhero and Norman is a villain.

Erin doesn't know about Norman being the Green Goblin which makes things between them more complicated. She's very attracted to him but feels that she can't express it publicly because of their differences which results in her seeing him in private instead.

Familial Background: Erin is the youngest of 8 children and was born into a military family to the point of being military royalty thanks to her parents being high-ranking officers and having stellar reputations. Although expectations were high for Erin growing up, she was still treated with much love, affection, and support throughout her life and the Echizens were a very close-knit family and still remain that way today.

Character Background: From a young age, Erin knew she was destined to join the military just like some of her older siblings had done. Being the daughter of a General and an Admiral made life quite easy for Erin but despite this, she didn't let it go to her head and her family kept her grounded. But that didn't stop her from being disliked by some of her fellow peers and she had to prove herself worthy of being a soldier.

Upon enlisting in the Army at age 17, Erin became a Combat Medic and enlisted in college with the goal of becoming a doctor, graduating with a Bachelor's in Pre-Med. This lead to her being promoted to 2nd Lieutenant and going to the Uniformed Services University to become a Field Surgeon. During her time there however, Erin dealt with sexual harassment from Lieutenant Colonel Jack Travis and when she refused his advances, he devised a plan to rape her which he eventually did alongside two other officers while another officer (who was gay) held her down.

The experience broke Erin and transformed her into the person she is today. She immediately reported the gang rape but the investigation was hell for her and she was even arrested for adultery due to one of the officers being married. Although Erin didn't want to get her parents involved because she didn't want to disappoint them, they were eventually contacted and they were not happy.

Erin was eventually released and the trial ensued with Erin giving a tearful testimony and having prior evidence of her previous sexual harassment from Travis just made the case even more air-tight despite the defense's attempts to humiliate Erin and catch her in a lie. Travis and the other officers were convicted of raping Erin and they were sentenced 25 to life.

The charges against Erin were dropped but it didn't come without its own struggles. The military attempted to give Erin an honorable discharge but her parents put an immediate end to that. Erin was able to continue her schooling and career but she had to deal with being an outcast which just made her heart even more cold and frigid but it slowly started to melt when she met Emmet Washington, an FBI agent who eventually became her boyfriend.

Erin's life changed forever when she was shot trying to save one of her fellow comrades and needed a blood transfusion. The blood was the blood of a succubus and it caused Erin to become half succubus in the process. It was rather difficult for her because she had to deal with a very heightened libido and all new powers that she didn't know how to deal with.

That's when Emmet dropped a bombshell on Erin. He was an incubus and offered to train Erin, teaching her how to be a succubus. This lead to their relationship just becoming stronger and far more physical which eventually led to them having 4 children and Emmet proposing to her.

But tragedy struck when Emmet was killed in the line of duty during a shootout. Erin was very distraught and decided to leave the military with her kids in tow. She became a doctor in the civilian world and decided to become a superhero as well, wanting to keep Emmet's passion for justice alive and creating a newfound family with many other superheroes.

Athena was born in Los Angeles, California to middle-class parents and was the middle of three children. Her mother owned a restaurant and her father was a firefighter. Athena had a happy, normal childhood with her family until tragedy suddenly struck the Cartwright family.

An earthquake happened when Athena was 8 and her mother's restaurant was destroyed in the process. At the same time, her father was one of the many firefighters that died during the rescuing attempt. Being a daddy's girl, Athena was devastated by losing her father and she dealt with the grief by lashing out, causing mischief and being an overall knucklehead.

When Athena was 13, she got into a fight with a local gang and a boy by the name of Charles McCarter came to her aid, beating the bullies back. The two became a dynamic duo and when they were 16, they started dating and Athena lost her virginity to Charles on their prom night.

After the couple graduated from high school and went to college, their relationship became complicated and they were on and off until Athena revealed that she was pregnant with twins. Charles had gotten engaged to another woman but he promised to be there for her and the kids which he kept true to even after he got married and Athena's subsequent birth to twin girls.

Athena and Charles' on and off relationship continued behind his wife's back until he eventually died from complications regarding diabetes which he had since childhood. Much to Athena's shock and surprise, Charles had left everything to her and their kids in his will and since he was a lawyer, he made it to where the will couldn't be contested or fought against.

Charles' wife was outraged but was helpless to do anything as Athena gathered everything of value to her and moved to Ergastulum with her daughters in tow. Wanting to make the world a better place and add value to her life, Athena decided to join the Ergastulum Police Department and quickly made a name for herself around town thanks to her skills and personality.

At first, things were finally going well for once in Diana's life but six months later, Floyd began to make sexual advances towards her which soon escalated to rape. The incidents continued to happen until Yvette walked in on them. Taking Floyd's side over Diana's, Yvette kicked her out. To make matters worse, Shavon sided with Yvette as well, meaning Diana had no place to stay and was homeless.

To cope with her pain and trauma, Diana turned to sex, drugs, and partying and couch-surfed from house to house for a year before moving in with her best friend Denise Sinclair who lived with her older brother Christopher who was 19 at the time. Despite being only 16 at the time, Diana was instantly enamored with Christopher and it wasn't long before they started dating. Diana, Christopher, and Denise were an unstoppable trio in the partying scene and they had a wild, hedonistic lifestyle until Diana's 18th birthday. Diana was traumatized and felt immensely guilty from the incident. She stopped partying, doing drugs, and shocked everyone by joining the Marines when she graduated from high school. Zuri was born to Crystal Wallace and Beau Willie Brown in Harlem, New York. Her parents were fresh out of high school and Beau enlisted into the U.S. Army while Crystal took up a job as an assistant to a large CEO. Crystal adjusted perfectly to her job while Beau was having a difficult time adapting to military life and his mental state began to deteriorate slowly but surely.

When Zuri was 5, her younger siblings Kenya and Kwame were born which resulted in Beau leaving the military when his contract was up. He tried to find a job but it was proving difficult due to his PTSD and alcoholism. To make matters worse, Beau had started to become abusive towards Crystal and it wasn't uncommon for Zuri to go to school with bruises on her body. Although CPS was often called on the Wallace family, nothing came of it due to Beau's aggression and temper scaring them away.

Zuri lived in constant fear and anxiety for many years until the unthinkable happened. When she was 12, Beau had dropped Kenya and Kwame out of the window of their apartment building. Since they were on the 5th floor, they died instantly. Zuri and Crystal had tried to save them but they were badly beaten in the process. Beau was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault with his sentence being life in prison without parole.

Sadly this did nothing to quell the grief and pain in Crystal's heart and six months later, she committed suicide by overdosing on pills. Zuri had come home from school and found her body. Her crying and screaming had alerted the neighbors who called the paramedics and Zuri was taken into foster care.

The police had contacted her aunt Vianne who had married a Korean man and moved to South Korea shortly after Zuri was born but lost contact with Crystal due to Beau's abusive ways. Vianne and her husband Minsoo instantly came to America and took Zuri into their custody, whisking her away to South Korea.

For the first time in her life, Zuri was able to experience the true love and affection of family although it was difficult for her to open up to everyone because of all the trauma that she had went through. Adjusting to life in South Korea was difficult for Zuri especially due to her being a foreigner but she finally found her place with three boys: Suho Lee, Seojun Han, and Seyeon Yoon. Zuri was attending the same middle school as them and Seyeon had seen her dance which lead to them becoming fast friends since they shared the same passion for music and dance. This lead to Zuri hanging out with The Three S's and she slowly started to fit into Korean society thanks to them but still maintained some rebellion.

Zuri's relationship with Seyeon was the closest without a doubt and it wasn't long before they started dating. Although Seyeon's schedule was often packed due to him being an idol trainee, they always made time for each other and had a very loving, intimate relationship. But sadly it wasn't meant to be as Seyeon eventually committed suicide.

His death destroyed Zuri and she gave up her dream of becoming a famous singer and dancer, instead focusing on her love for cars and aiming to become a mechanic which she is now trying to accomplish.

Personality: At first glance, Zuri seems like an introverted, classy ice queen. She is quiet, troubled, brooding, grim, moody, seemingly emotionless, intelligent, studious, and sarcastic. Zuri can always come up with a snarky and sarcastic remark and her wittiness knows no bounds. She is quite mature and resilient, often giving advice to others about various subjects and generally staying cool and calm no matter how desperate the situation is. Around strangers, Zuri is often emotionally restrained, appearing secretive and distant as well as spending most of her time by herself. It is difficult for her to build trust in anyone and even more difficult to truly forgive if that trust were to be broken. Zuri doesn't like to mince words and says whatever is on her mind no matter what, having no tolerance for stupidity. Her mouth can be quite outrageous to the point of being humorous. She doesn't change for others and doesn't compromise when it comes to her morals and values. With Zuri, it's her way or the highway.

Once someone is able to get close to Zuri, they are often shocked to see a different side of her. One that's creative, passionate, and affectionate. She will also express more emotion around the people she's close to and is very loyal and caring towards them, even willing to fight for them if need be. Zuri doesn't get intimidated and can be quite vindictive when angered even to the point of violence. They will say that she's just misunderstood and underneath her hard shell lies a woman who's a passionate sweetheart with a hidden depth that's rarely found in people.

Ichigo Kurosaki: Zuri first met Ichigo when she attempted to commit suicide and he talked her down.

Ichigo is the only person besides her family who knows of her past and how it's shaped her to become the person she is now which is indicative of how close their relationship is. Ichigo has seen Zuri at her absolute worst and he's the only person that she feels she can truly open up to and trust completely. Whenever Zuri needs to vent or rant, she always goes to Ichigo.

Zuri highly values Ichigo and shows it by being affectionate and protective of him. If anyone tries to pick a fight with him or hurt him, Zuri will immediately rush to his defense and show her wrath to the offender. Although she has difficulty admitting it, Zuri is in love with Ichigo but is afraid to confess out of fear of being rejected and because of her own low self-esteem which has convinced her into thinking that she's not worthy of being loved.


Uryu Ishida: Zuri met Uryu when she began to attend Karakura High School.

The primary thing that Zuri likes about Uryu is his solitary nature as well as his intelligence. Zuri also likes how chivalrous he is although it made her uncomfortable at first because of how distrustful she is. Zuri thinks Uryu's talent with sewing is really cool and if she ever has an issue with any of her outfits, she immediately goes to him for help.

Zuri loves to tease and flirt with Uryu in a sexual manner, finding his reactions hilarious. She also has a tendency to twist his words in a sexual way which only serves to exasperate Uryu even more. But it's all in good fun and it's easy to tell when Zuri is being genuine and when she's joking around. Zuri likes Uryu a lot and expresses it in more subtle ways than being blunt about it which is unexpected for someone of her character.


Yasutora "Chad" Sado: Zuri met Chad when he protected her from a group of thugs that were bullying her at school.

Zuri finds Chad's presence calming and it's not uncommon to see her just hanging around with him. She is very protective of Chad and always stands up for him since he doesn't fight back. Zuri isn't intimidated by Chad's size which is uncommon for most women and the trait she loves about him the most is his loyalty because that means she can always rely on him and trust him.

Zuri is fluent in Spanish and she will usually talk to Chad in that language much to the annoyance of others. She enjoys learning about Mexican culture and can talk to him for hours just learning more and more. Zuri deeply cares for Chad and will do anything for him, wanting to return his loyalty but isn't willing to confess her true feelings just yet because she doesn't wanna ruin their friendship.


Tatsuki Arisawa: Zuri met Tatsuki while working out at the dojo and they fought each other in a match that ended in a draw.

Zuri has a high amount of respect for Tatsuki and loves to see her fight. The two girls sparring against each other and working out together is a frequent occurrence and their love of martial arts has only made them closer. Although Zuri and Tatsuki have opposite natures and carry themselves differently, they compliment each other very well and have a kinship that's rare to see amongst people.

Zuri has fallen in love with Tatsuki over the years that they've known each other but her low self-esteem prevents her from confessing and she just suffers in silence instead.


Orihime Inoue: Zuri met Orihime thanks to Tatsuki introducing them to each other.

At first, Zuri was a bit put off by Orihime and was a bit cold towards her. But after Orihime protected her from a Hollow and healed her injuries, Zuri began to open up to her a bit more and slowly started to realize that her personality was genuine and not an act she was putting on. Sometimes Zuri can find Orihime a bit annoying and isn't afraid to bring her down to Earth but she always tries to do it in a way that won't hurt the poor girl's feelings.

Since Zuri is good at cooking, she always shares her recipes with Orihime and brings food over to her house as well as helping her get better at making food so she won't be eating horrible concoctions all the time which Zuri actually finds hilarious more than anything. She's unsure of how she feels towards Orihime but she does know that she wants to keep her close and really enjoys her company despite not wanting to admit it.


Toshiro Hitsugaya: Zuri met Toshiro while he was in the Human World and visiting Ichigo.

Zuri and Toshiro got to a rather icy start but as Toshiro hung around Ichigo more and more, Zuri's interest in him began to increase and she started to warm up to him after he saved her from a Hollow. Because of their similar, icy natures, Zuri and Toshiro have built up a rapport with one another and enjoy spending time together. Toshiro is also one of two people (the other being Ichigo) who has actually seen her dance which just shows how close they've become but they still have a ways to go.

Zuri highly respects Toshiro's intelligence and likes to hear about the Soul Society and what life is like there. In return, she teaches him about The World Of The Living and the many things about it, both good and bad. Their conversations can last for hours and hours and it never gets tiring for Zuri because of how much she loves Toshiro's company. She's unsure of how to feel about him and she's scared to push things further because of them being from different worlds.

Familial Background: Zuri was born to an African-American woman and Japanese father. Her parents defied all odds (and their families) to be together and they wound up eloping in secret. They settled down in Karakura Town and gave birth to four children, juggling their careers and raising them at the same time which was hectic and often stressful but Faith and Hideki's love for each other kept their marriage going and their teamwork was flawless when it came to raising Zuri and her siblings.


Character Background: Although Zuri had a great home life and the upbringing most children would die for, she didn't fare very well outside of it. At school, she was bullied severely which caused her to develop low self-esteem and depression. Zuri gained a reputation for being an ice queen and she became mean and snarky to combat the bullying which eventually escalated to full-blown fighting.

When Zuri was 13, a classmate named Hiroto Rukawa that she had a crush on had approached her and asked her out which eventually lead to them dating. But little did she know, it was all part of a bet between Hiroto and his friends just to get her to sleep with him. On Zuri's 14th birthday, Hiroto tried to make sexual advances towards her and when she rejected him, he lashed out at her and revealed his true feelings which destroyed Zuri. In return, she grabbed a glass bottle and smashed it on Hiroto's face before running away.
 

Zuri isolated herself even more and at age 15, she had attempted suicide only to be saved by Ichigo Kurosaki himself. After having a heart-to-heart conversation with him and finally breaking down for the first time, Zuri finally felt a lust for life that she had been missing for so many years and decided to seek mental health treatment as well so she wouldn't feel that low ever again.

Now Zuri is living her best life and striving to be the best she can be despite her demons still lingering and coming back to haunt her which is starting to stunt her growth.
