Past: Carmelita's parents died during the 9/11 attacks when she was 8. Her older sister Nora had to step up to the plate to take care of her and the boys Alexus and Alejandro who were 6 at the time. She became a police officer, wanting to keep the streets safe and protect others. Unfortunately Nora had to work long hours to make ends meet, often leaving her younger siblings to their own devices.
Being the second oldest, Carmelita had to grow up quickly. She took care of her brothers and the house while Nora worked and when she was 10, she began to show an interest in cars and motorcycles as well as MMA which changed her life forever. By the time she was 14, she was already an experienced mechanic and racer as well as joining a dance crew, doing battles for money alongside racing.
Now thanks to Carmelita's various hustles and activities, she's able to help her family with whatever they need and they're managing to make ends meet now that Nora’s an FBI agent and married to a police officer as well as a mother of two children. Unfortunately she has to deal with bullies and various people being rude/mean to her which has changed her and made her struggle with demons that no one knows about. To make matters worse, Carmelita has had issues with dating due to her values and not wanting to engage in casual, meaningless sex.
