Past: Cindy and her twin brother Carlos were abandoned in Los Angeles when they were only six months old. They were found by Bellemere and Tony Joseph, a couple that had just arrived home from a tour. Since no one was claiming the twins, they decided to take them in and love them as their own alongside their daughter Cereza.
Bellemere and Tony discharged from the Marines and began to start on their respective career paths, the former applying for the FBI and the latter going into law school. Focusing on their goals while raising three children was hard for the Josephs and they struggled financially to the point where they starved themselves just so the kids wouldn't.
Things got better once Bellemere graduated from the FBI Academy and became an agent. The Josephs moved into a better neighborhood and managed to buy a house after getting their finances together. Once Tony passed his bar exam, the Josephs were set for life. When Cindy was 13, she met a neighbor named Levi Luther and became fast friends with him. She was introduced to the world of cars and racing thanks to him and his father and immediately found her calling.
By the time Cindy was 16, she was street racing and working part time as a mechanic in Levi's father's shop. After graduating from high school, her racing skills were noticed by a NASCAR manager, giving her the opportunity to go pro. After a lot of convincing from Levi, Cindy took the chance and before she knew it, she was skyrocketed into fame and fortune.

Many people would say there are two sides to Levi. On the outside, he seems confident, snarky, and sarcastic, his smart mouth being irritable to those who don't know him very well. He puts up a tough, rebellious front to disassociate himself from others, his actions speaking much louder than his words in most cases. Levi is very intelligent but to everyone's surprise doesn't display it unless the situation calls for it. He's fairly modest and prefers not to draw attention to himself not out of shyness but out of privacy.
Underneath the exterior Levi puts out there, he has some dark secrets. He feels like he can't express who he truly is and feels stifled and trapped because of it. Hopelessness and worthlessness are two things that he feels very often and he will lash out in anger and frustration sometimes because of it. Levi's temper is very fearsome and sometimes the smallest thing can set him off. He holds things in until he explodes violently in a white-hot rage. This makes him dangerous and unpredictable because no one knows when or how it will happen.

Past: Levi was born into an affluent family, his father owning a chain of auto parts stores and mechanic shops and his mother being a high-ranking attorney. The Luthers seemed like a loving, happy family but behind the scenes, things were the exact opposite. While Levi had a great relationship with his father, he and Veronica never saw eye to eye. She was often manipulative, cunning, controlling, and emotionally abusive towards Levi because of him not being the son she always wanted.
It only got worse as Levi approached his teen years and became good friends with one of his neighbors Cindy, spending a lot of time with her and confiding in her. When he graduated high school, Levi came out as bisexual to his parents and announced that he was following in his father's footsteps instead of his mother's. David was accepting and supportive while Veronica refused to accept Levi's sexuality and treated him with disgust and disdain, even saying at one point that she would rather not have a son at all than have one who liked other men.
Levi currently has to deal with Veronica's constant leverage and cunning tactics against him all while keeping his friendship with Cindy a secret from her so she won't be caught in the crossfire.
