Jean is a stubborn, mischievous and rebellious young woman who can also be described as bold and outgoing. She has a big mouth often making snarky comments, acts fearless and loves to take risks, which often gets her in trouble. Jean can be prone to angry outbursts and has serious issues with abandonment and trust because of her past. Due to all her bad experiences over the years, she has become pessimistic and resentful of life, convinced that there wasn't really anyone who actually cared about her or who she could trust in completely.
Jean sometimes is very insensitive to other people's feelings and may act selfish and possessive, always wanting her loved ones' attention for herself and getting jealous and resentful if they don't spare their time for her or don't act her way. Jean can also be very irrational and irresponsible, which often takes the form of blaming others for situations out of their control and avoiding any responsibility for damage caused by herself but she will in some instances eventually acknowledge when she was in the wrong and apologize.
Jean also is a very protective, devoted and faithful companion, though she tends to get too attached and obsessive. Past: Because of her parents' jobs, Jean traveled a lot as a child and lived in several countries. This made it difficult for her to make new friends and she didn't know how to fit in. When Jean was 12, her father was shot in the abdomen while on tour in Afghanistan. The bullet tore through an artery and after surgery was performed, Daniel suffered a massive stroke that left him brain dead. After his organs were harvested, he was taken off of life support and passed away.
Jean was a daddy's girl and losing her father caused her fragile mind to snap. Her mom drowned herself further in her work which only made things worse for Jean. Feeling abandoned and betrayed, she got involved with the wrong crowd and started acting out as she hit puberty and became a teenager.
When Jean turned 15, her mother was posted in Rome. Wanting to fit in and out of curiosity, the rebellious teenager lost her virginity and became sexually active with both men and women, eventually becoming pregnant. Not knowing what to do, one of Jean's good friends convinced her to go to an abortion clinic and took her there as well. Jean told no one about the abortion, vowing to take it with her to the grave.
Two years later, Jean decided to strike out on her own and returned to the States, moving to Texas. She got her own apartment and enrolled in trade school, interested in cosmetology. She instantly found her calling in the trade and for the first time in her life actually had a goal she was set on accomplishing.
Nine months later, Jean got her cosmetology license as well as her business license and opened her own salon which she called Shanghai Salon. The salon became noticed quickly because of Jean's talents and personality. Things became even brighter for her when she met Delilah Abraham who became one of her first clients. The two women became fast friends because of how much they had in common and it wasn't long before they were inseparable and have been best friends ever since.

Past: Because of her parents' occupations, people had high expectations for Delilah and she met them with little complications. While she often worried about losing her parents because of how dangerous their jobs could be, Delilah kept herself busy which distracted her from those worries. She became interested in dancing and gymnastics from the age of 8, drowning herself in them and even participating in competitions.
Delilah quickly became popular at school and in the community because of her personality and talents and as she hit puberty and went through high school, she began to have many admirers including a billionaire named Christian Valentino whom she lost her virginity to on her 17th birthday even though he was 13 years her senior and married.
Even though her parents disapproved of their relationship, Delilah and Christian continued to see each other and when she graduated from high school, she moved in with him after his wife left due to the illicit affair. Delilah went off to college and decided to study law, wanting to become a criminal lawyer. Christian was supportive and decided to pay for her education as well.
Six months after Delilah started college, she discovered that she was pregnant and Christian proposed to her in response. Balancing school and pregnancy was stressful and dangerous for Delilah but she trudged through it thanks to Christian's love and support. Giving birth was harrowing for the young woman because of her high blood pressure but it was a success. Delilah had a son at the age of 20 which she decided to name Raphael.
Christian was overjoyed to finally be a father but sadly he didn't get to experience it as he died in a car accident when Raphael was 6 months old. Delilah was devastated and when Christian's will was read, it was discovered that he changed it so she and his son would inherit everything he owned instead of his ex-wife.
Deciding to be more humble, Delilah decided to continue studying law, eventually being at the top of her class and passing the bar exam with ease. Now she's a well-known criminal lawyer focused on her career and raising her son the best she can.
