But that is only scratching the surface. She only acts this way because of the pressure and stress she is under. Calista's true nature is one of mischief and kindness. She does enjoy aiding people when she can and truly does have a golden heart that is also full of melancholy. But it is often masked by a veil of cynicism and self-importance to the point where very few people get to see it.
Calista is sadistic, seductive, teasing and takes a certain delight in toying with people whether friend or foe. She is well aware of her charm and uses this to her advantage to set people against each other, trick them, or get information out of people. She tends to act calm and confident, but when pushed to a corner can become very unhinged. While she enjoyed her homeworld, she was far more intrigued with humans and Earth, spending her time watching and studying their customs and behaviors to the point of obsession. When Calista became of age, she decided to travel to Earth, wanting to see what it was really like.
She spent her days drifting from place to place as well as person to person until she met the Teen Titans and helped them defeat Madame Rouge whom she held a grudge against. This led to her becoming an Honorary Titan and finally finding her calling. Calista still drifts around but comes to the Titans' aid whenever they need her and makes sure to keep in contact with them.
